Laser cutting Workshop
April 12th, Ballarat
Ever wondered how laser cutting works? I’m running a one day workshop on creating miniature furniture using a laser cutting machine.
It’s taken me years to get a handle on using this technology and I’m so excited to share all my knowledge with you so you can apply it to your own projects and ideas.
In this workshop I’m breaking down the barriers and making this technology accessible to awesome women like you!
You’re going to learn how to run a top of the range fancy-pants laser cutter and it’s software and use it to create tiny furniture.
Working with a selection of my ready-prepped templates I’m going to show you how to set up the machine, select your materials, use the software to prepare your file and cut your components.
I will teach you how I clean up and assemble the parts into tiny and beautiful furniture for you to take home. All the while sharing with you my trade secrets, tips and tricks and answering all of your questions!
You don’t need any computery stuff to take this workshop and I’m all about creating a fun, relaxed, warm and welcoming environment. I want you to have the best learning experience regardless of your skill and confidence level.
The event is being held at the shiny new and super-cool Ballarat Tech School on Friday April 12th from 10am – 3pm. A yummy lunch will be provided and the day will cost $495 with just 4 places available.
A specialised kit of supplies and tools will also be provided for you to keep.
Please note this workshop doesn’t include tuition on creating vector drawings but is a hands-on opportunity to cut and create mini furniture using cool lasers.
See you there!
